Bottled Time employees will not have access to your credit card information.
If you do not register with us, or if you choose to visit the website anonymously, you will still be permitted to view all public pages. However, you will not, among other things, be able to add Content to the Service.
When you visit our site, we collect your browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all visitors. In addition, we store certain information from your browser using "cookies." A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer, tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. Some or all of these cookies terminate once the user closes the browser.
3. The Way We Use Information
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
1. To save and display your content
We save your content forever and display it on your private pages or public pages, depending on your privacy settings and various other factors.
2. To process transactions
We do not process or store your credit card information on our servers. All payments are processed by Stripe, a leading internet payment gateway, to collect your credit card details and authorize the transaction. To better keep your information safe, no Bottled Time employee will never have the ability to retrieve or view your credit card information.
3. To send periodic emails
The email address you provide at registration will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your account, e.g., password reminders. If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information, public or private, other than for the express purpose of delivering the service requested. This restriction does not include website hosting partners and other trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when necessary to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others' rights, property, or safety. Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
4. Invitations to Other Users
Registered members can invite people to view their pages or join the site by sending invitations via email. We store the email addresses provided in order to facilitate invitation reminders to the same person. We do not sell or rent these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations. Recipients of invitations from Bottled Time may contact us to request the removal of their email addresses from our database.
5. Our Commitment to Data Security
To maintain data accuracy and protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. 7. How You Can Access, Correct or Delete Your Information
You can access and edit all your personally identifiable information that we collect online by visiting our home page at www.mybottledtime.com and logging into your account with your username and password.
Members may edit or delete any of their information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Deleted information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time, but will not be generally available to anyone except Bottled Time employees or other third parties as detailed above.
